Battery Storage
Sungrow – 9.6kWh Battery
Sungrow batteries are stackable modules that provide storage starting at 9.6kWh. These lithium iron phosphate batteries can scale up when stacked to provide varying levels of usable stored energy.
Suited to residential and commercial use, Sungrow batteries provide reliable, seamless storage and full blackout protection when teamed with the Sungrow hybrid inverter.

Tesla Powerwall – 13.5kWh Battery
Tesla’s second generation Lithium-ion ‘Powerwall’ has a usable energy storage capacity of 13.5kWh. As an AC-coupled battery, Powerwall can be fitted to virtually any existing solar power system. What factors influence the cost of an installation?
Every home is different, and your quote will be tailored to consider different factors.

- type and size of inverter
- type of framing equipment and other system components required to install solar at your property
- height and accessibility of roof and whether it is tiled or metal or concrete
- the condition of the switchboard and meter
- if you have two meters, there is often a consolidation fee

Please note, for solar installations, your electricity retailer will charge you a one-off fee to connect your solar system. The amount depends on your retailer and location; the connection fee is usually between $50 and $150.
After you have your system installed, your electricity retailer may change your electricity charges (how much you pay for electricity). Once your system has been installed and connected to the grid, we suggest that you shop around the best energy deal for your usage.
