Who we are

The Solar Savers program is a local government initiative led by the Eastern Alliance for Greenhouse Action (EAGA).

The program helps people in participating councils electrify their homes and businesses by facilitating access to quality and affordable products, which can help reduce their energy bills and environmental impact.

The program began in 2018 with a focus on solar (hence the name) and has expanded to include a broad range of products including everything from EV chargers to induction cooktops and insulation.

Currently, there are 19 local councils participating in the program, helping hundreds of residents and business transition to a cleaner energy future.

How it works

Step 1 Visit the registration page and select your local council.

Step 2 Choose the products or services you’re interested in, and whether you’d like to receive multiple quotes.

Step 3 Vetted suppliers will contact you to discuss your needs, recommend solutions, and provide a quote.

Step 4 Like what you see? Accept a quote and work directly with the supplier to arrange installation. (Solar Savers only steps in if you need support.)
